My name is Bruce Heen, EZ 608, and I graduated in 1972 and again in 1980 when I went back for my accounting degree. In between degrees, I was the assistant varsity hockey coach in Devils Lake for five years until I went back for my second degree in 1977. In 1980 I graduated and took a job in Stevens Point, WI, moving to Atlanta, GA in 1982, marrying 1989 to Sheryl Riddle. We have one son, Douglas, and we moved Austin, Texas in 1996. In 1998, I took a job in Jacksonville, FL and we stayed there until 2006 when we moved to Birmingham, AL, where we now live. Our son will be a senior in high school next fall.
If there was one p;iece of advice I'd give all of you, it's spend a lot of time actively recruiting members! Being a member of a fraternity like Lambda Chi is a lffe changing event and the brothers I met there I still consider the best friends of my life. The more people you can give this experience to, the better it is for them and for the world.
Anyway, say hi to any brothers who might remember me from the years of 1969 to 1972 and from 1977 to 1980. Have fun and study hard!!!!
My name is Curtis Crist and I was in the EZZ chapter in the early 80's. I went into fraternity life, reluctantly, at the encouragement of my dad as a quiet, shy individual. I left the fraternity with a taste of self-confidence and leadership experience having become an officer within our chapter. The years were memorable and the foundation for what I have become today.

I think that you had a great president with Chuck back in the early 80's. He organized some good parties and had some good athletic teams. I was not a member, however was treated like one for a few years, since I played on a few of the teams.

I received the Lambda Chi Alpha newsletter today which got me thinking back over the years -- and there have been a few. I graduated from UND with my BS in Engineering Management in 1982.
Spent the next 4 years working for Melroe Bobcat Skidsteer loaders in Fargo, ND. In 1987 I decided to return to UND and pursue my MBA, graduating in 1989.
Then it was off to Minneapolis to work for Allianttechsystems as a cost estimator in their defense unit for four years.
Next was US Bank as a financial analyst in their treasury department for four years and project manager in their Corporate Payment Systems Division for 6 years.
Currently I am the Director of Valuation Review for GMAC Residential Mortgages. My group sets the value of the homes that have been foreclosed on -- we have been rather busy the last year or so!
On a personal note, I was one of the first single males to adopt a child from Russia. In 1997 I adopted the first of my two sons, Mitchell followed by Matthew in 1999 and a dughter, McKenna in 2003.
It has been quite a ride for this middle son of a small town ND truck driver. There are still lots of adventures ahead -- Mitch is now a teen, I work in the mortgage industry, and McKenna keeps picking on the boys in school. I look back at my years in the house with fond memories. As the brothers that were in the house with me will attest, I am not one for taking the answeer "no". So for anyone that reads this post, don't take no as the answer and keep working hard. Success is there for you to grasp.
Yours in ZAX EZZ785 Randy
Brothers,
Thought I'd give a little update on my life. I've been living and working in Minneapolis for almost 2 and a half years now. I landed a job at Emerson Process Management - Rosemount, Inc. right after graduation in December '05. Things have been going great and I really can't complain. I've been able to get back to UND and to the fraternity a number of times for a number of different events since I graduated. My direct family is still all down in AZ as they have been since I graduated high school. I get to visit them a few times a year, as work schedule and finances permit. I hope you all are doing well! Cheers.

Brothers,
Hopefully this website component is a little easier than the online editable page I was previously attempting to utilize for us to be able to add our own content (news!) to this website. Please add a guestbook entry and keep your Brothers up to date with your ongoings - whatever they may be!
